Hands on Space : Space Outreach Program in Connecticut

Hands-on Space is dedicated to teaching kids and families about space and space exploration through EXCITING hands-on activities that provide memorable, lasting experiences! What's more, our Outreach Programs bring all the fun and fascinating exploration right to your location, without the hassle and expense of transportation!
Interactive presentation programs are designed for audiences of 20 to 200. Each last about 40-45 minutes. Included are a short Q/A session and/or a related hands-on activity bringing the total program length to about 60 minutes.	Workshops are designed to emphasize concepts introduced in the presentations, offering a more investigative, hands-on experience. They are designed for groups of 10-20 participants and usually include a take-home component.

Choose from audience presentations, hands-on workshops or a combination of both! Programs can be tailored to suit your needs. Our multidisciplinary, inquiry-based approach stresses important skills like critical thinking, experimentation, and measurement.
