Program : Storytelling, music, movement and science-based inquiry activities are all combined into a delightful and engaging program that introduces young explorers to important concepts of science and space. Children hear the tale of Sophie the Comet and her quest to grow a beautiful tail and then participate in a variety of interactive sensory exercises that reinforce the principles introduced in the story.

Grade Level : K to 3rd (age 5 to 8)

Program Length : 45-50 minutes

Activity Add-ons :

Note that Sophie's Tail differs from other Hands-on Space programs in that activities have been fully integrated into the program and so are not available as an add-on.
