Program : The audience hears captivating tales of the season's constellations drawn from a variety of cultural myths and legends. They'll learn how to easily spot these constellations and will even get the opportunity to role-play characters as we journey through the night sky!
Grade Level : 2nd-5th
Program Length : 60 minutes (40 to 45 min. presentation + 15 min. activity)

Activity Options :
Starscope
After selecting the constellation of their choice, children construct their own home-made "planetarium" tube.
Starfinder
Students are introduced to how a starfinder/planisphere works and help build one of their own.
Night Sky Tour
An outside review of major constellations and stellar navigation (weather permitting).

Note :
This program may be modified to emphasize the myths and legends of particular cultures including Greek & Roman, Egyptian, Native American, Mayan, Chinese, etc.
